“ Loved this spot! Celebrated a birthday here and it was a great start to the day. Waited about 20 minutes for a table but walking next door to watch the glass blowers made that feel very quick. We were surprised to see the same glassware utilized inside the restaurant for all of their cups, it felt very "local." Food was great, we all cleaned our plates! Will definitely be back if we are in the area. ”

“ If you are looking for a friendly and casual place that serves fresh, clean food, I would highly recommend this place. And they do have excellent vegan and vegetarian options. If you find yourself on the island, then I would recommend this as a go-to. Their vegan options when we went there for lunch were a black bean burger and broccoli, asparagus soup. Delicious! The good food is topped with great, friendly service. I would caution against a bit of a wait time though so get there about 30 minutes before you think you would need to eat. ”

“ My friends and I went for a ladies day after the book sale at the library, shortly after noon, and we decided the food and atmosphere is so good we're aiming to come back once a month to try everything on the menu! A cute little cafe with all the charm and incredible art (for sale btw) of Whidbey Island. There was a 30 minute wait so we wandered around the shops until they texted us for a table. Once we remembered we had no kids with us, we decided to sit at the bar instead. Most of the seating was tables and chairs, with a wall of bench seats. They used the blown glass cups from a neighboring shop which we had just wandered through! The bartender (and the chefs and really all the staff) were johnny on the spot, lively, and fun. They explained dishes, offered advice when we couldn't decide, and checked in on us consistently. The coffee and London fogs were flavorful and not overly sweet (we're all pnw coffee "snobs"). The food was cooked fast, and the presentation was gorgeous! So colorful, and the FLAVOR. oh my gosh, the flavor. The potatoes and vegetables were seasoned well, heck, everything was seasoned incredibly well! It's rare to get us all to stop talking at once but silence reigned because the food was really just that good. Do yourself a favor, and go eat here! While you're at it, be sure to check out some of the local artist's paintings for sale! ”

“ What a fantastic little surprise this place was! Got a recommendation from a customer of mine over in Shoreline. Took a day trip to Whidbey. And we just so happened to stumble across it while walking around Langley. Lemme just say: the fried chicken I had on the biscuits and gravy meal (the nasty) was from a completely different dimension entirely. Seasoned exceptionally, cooked to a perfect crisp, and incredibly juicy; it's some of the best I've ever had. The staff was kind and quick. The service was outstanding, not once did I feel like my needs weren't met. And the outdoor seating was perfect for a sunny day! It really made the day special. Check it out if you're in the area! ”
